The Quad PA-One headphone amplifier is designed to achieve the full potential of any set of headphones connected to it. A wide variety of digital and analogue sources can be connected to the Quad PA-one, including – Balanced, RCA, Coaxial, Optical and USB connectivity.
With the increased popularity of computers being used as a source component, The Quad PA-One USB DAC allows you to enjoy listening to digital music sources from computer or laptop (MAC or Windows) via a USB connection. The PA-One is compliant with USB 1.1 and 2.0 and supports sampling frequencies between 35kHz and 192kHz, providing the music enthusiast with increased flexability.
The engineers at Quad have incorporated valve amplification within the Quad PA-One. Carefully selected Hi-Fi amplification valves have been specified – 2 x 6SL7, 2 x 6SN7 and 1 x EZ81. The chosen valves allow the PA-One to deliver the latest technology in perfect harmony with traditional Hi-Fi systems.
